This morning the Army released the name of a Soldier who died at his home near Fort Hood. Spc. Bradley Michael Acker, 25, was found Friday in his Copperas Cove home near Fort Hood, Texas.
Spc. Acker’s home town of record was listed as Canandaigua, New York.
The 25-year-old Soldier enlisted in the Army in 2010 as an aircraft power plant repairer, according to today’s Army Times. He had been assigned to the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, at Fort Hood since October 2014.
His awards and decorations include the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Army Service Ribbon.
Spc. Acker’s death is under investigation by the Copperas Cove Police Department.
