Cold case detectives in Clarksville, Tennessee, haven’t forgotten Steven Davies, a homeless Navy veteran who was killed in 2010.  But it’s the local Crime Stoppers who have offered up a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest that could help solve the case.

In 2010, the skeletal remains of Steven Davies were found around the area of Terminal Road in Clarksville.  At the time of his demise, law enforcement officers determined that his death was a homicide.   Unfortunately, the mystery of who killed Davies, or why, has never been solved.

Authorities have long believed that another member of the homeless community might hold clues to Davies’ death; but they know that same group of people remain reluctant to come forward.  After seven years, authorities know that memories fade and details become sketchy.

According to authorities, Davies used to hang out in the area around the old K-Mart on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.  That store closed last year.

Anyone with information regarding Steven Davies’ death or his whereabouts in July 2010, can call Clarksville Police and ask for Det. Mike Ulrey at 931-648-0656 ext. 5483 or leave an anonymous tip at Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS (8477)   Online at
